Approving your product opens up a whole new section of the market. Imagine being able to sell your product to whole new sections of industry that were previously off limits. Imagine being able to tell your customers that your system is certified safe for use in a specific area, and having the certificates from the class societies to prove it.
Our unique business model enables customers to send their equipment from anywhere in the world to our laboratory for testing. Alternatively, customers that prefer to visit us to witness the testing firsthand are always made welcome. In both cases we can act as a 'one-stop-shop' for all your type approval testing needs.
Here at Mariner Systems we can perform all the testing and relevant applications to ensure that this becomes reality. Our test facilities have been designed specifically for marine type approvals but can be used for equally fast throughput in all areas of environmental, climatic, vibration and EMC testing.
Mariner Systems can offer advice and guidance through every step of the process as well as frequent testing updates, allowing you to chart your equipments progress throughout each stage of the testing.
The capacity of our facilities is such that we can offer very short lead times while still remaining very competitively priced. While variations in testing requirements do mean some systems will take longer to complete we aim to complete testing and issue our reports within fifteen working days. This means that you can start selling your type approved equipment sooner.
UKAS Approved test laboratory
We have recently achieved UKAS accreditation for the Test Lab for all our environmental tests and are in the process of gaining accreditation for our EMC testing both to marine standards and also commercial CE mark, we hope to complete this process in the next couple of months.
In addition our Test Laboratory is formally recognized by Bureau Veritas.
This recognition formally acknowledges that the facilities, organizational structure and associated quality procedures make the Test Laboratory suitable for the supervision of environmental tests on products for use in a marine environment (including Marine Directive 96/98 applications).
